Blackinn Rose is an independent, privately held software studio based in Wyckoff, New Jersey. We design and publish mobile applications under our own name, and we keep the studio small on purpose.
Blackinn Rose was started to build software the way a lot of good ideas start: because an app we wanted didn't exist yet, or the ones that did were bloated, ad-heavy, or abandoned after launch. We'd rather publish fewer apps and actually maintain them.
Every app carrying the Blackinn Rose name is designed, built, and supported directly by our team — nothing is outsourced to a template shop or published on our behalf. That means slower releases, but it also means someone is actually listening when a user reports a bug.

Plant Pilot is a garden companion app for people who want their plants to make it through the season. Log what you've planted and where, get reminders for watering and seasonal care, and keep simple notes on how each bed is doing — without needing to become a master gardener first.
